Adding LinkWithin Widget

5.21.2014
There is a number of available tutorials on how to add a LinkWithin Widget to your blog or site. A couple of suggested instructions worked for some, while most of the ones I personally found did not work for me. It's one of two things: either the LinkWithin site is experiencing some technical difficulties or the suggestions that I happened to come across with would just never work for me.

So here is how I was able to install the LinkWithin Widget. I am sharing this in case some also experienced the same issue.

1.) Go to LinkWithin.

2.) Enter your information. Instead of choosing your blog platform, choose Other.
Click Get Widget!.

3.) You will be redirected to a page like the one below. Copy the codes provided on your page.

4.) Go to your Blogger Dashboard, proceed to Layout, then click Add a Gadget.

5.) Find and select HTML/JavaScript and then paste the code which was copied from the LinkWithin site earlier.

6.) Save changes.

If it did not work for you, you can try this or this.

Shailene Woodley and Feminism

5.08.2014
I don't understand the fuss about Shailene Woodley's misunderstanding on what "Feminism" is about.

Personally, I don’t think it’s her fault that she’s unfamiliar with the term. She is probably more well-informed in other things just not with beliefs or ideologies such as feminism. It’s like other people being very much acquainted with this topic and being less knowledgeable on other topics. It is just unfortunate that she is a public figure and that there are certain expectations from people. I can agree that this is a lesson not only for her but for all of us – to learn what is correct from what we now know is wrong. However, she doesn’t have to always say or know the right thing. Good if she does, but she’s a human being like us and she just happened to misuse a term and I doubt if with the intention of offending anyone.

Again, nobody's perfect. If anything, to explain the concept of "Feminism" "over and over again" creates no harm but actually raises the awareness of people who are less knowledgeable on this issue, take Shailene Woodley for example.
